Abstract

|
Manganese is an essential mineral for human beings and animals. It is important to the production of steel and is used for the production of alloys with copper, aluminium, magnesium, and cast iron. And the job of drilling with pneumatic drills has been reported to be one of the most significant sources of manganese exposure and poisoning.
We experienced 3 workers who worked in the process of welding load manufacuring and were diagnosed as the manganese poisoning by various laboratory data and physical examination and neurological examination.
